Parent Partnerships

Here at Briercliffe Day Nursery and Education Centre we regard relationships with parents as an extremely important aspect of any child's learning

Our aim is to maintain a close relationship with all parents/carers and operate an open door policy, which enables you to visit at anytime.

We like to involve parents/carers in their child’s time at nursery by encouraging visits, where they can join in activities and also discuss their child’s progress and development. We work closely with all parents/carers to ensure their needs are met.

The Nursery teachers pride themselves on home – setting links. The more information we hold on home life ensures that the settling in process is much more enjoyable for the children.

We do this through, daily reports, Learning Journey's, parent link pages, family and event photographs, show and tell items from home, newsletters, parents evenings and liaising with staff members ensure that a smooth transition occurs.
